Fly, Eagles, Fly!

Nothing brings a city together like a major sports championship. I was living in Boston for a couple big ones: the  Patriots' first Super Bowl win in '02 and the Red Sox finally breaking the curse in '04. When I moved to Philly in '08 and the Phillies won their first World Series in nearly 30 years I began to wonder if I was a good luck charm; unfortunately the next 10 winless years debunked that theory.

While all the past celebrations were great, none were as memorable as the Eagles bringing home their first Lombardi trophy this year. For a city that's notorious for its grit and ruthless fans, there was no shortage of brotherly love to go around. The city was truly transformed.

I made sure to document a bit of the good vibes knowing there might never be another celebration on Broad Street like this one.
